Must have attended the basic working at height and advanced working at height training before being able to attend Tower Rescue training. Audience

Anyone required to work at height climbing towers. As manufacturers rate their harness to a specific weight, if when wearing full PPE and carrying any tools takes you beyond 22st/140kg, you are therefore not eligible to attend this course.

Course Description

This 3-day course accredited by Energy Utility Skills Register (EUSR) will provide a solid foundation for those who are new to the telecommunications industry and introduces prospective climbers to work on communications masts and towers.    In order for engineers to continue to climb third party structures a MATS approved course certification is required. This course provides an alternative to the advanced training courses, for those requiring MATS approved certification via a EUSR accredited course giving a solid foundation for staff to work on communications masts and towers. This will allow Network Rail staff to climb third party structures safely   PPE Requirements - Head Protection, Foot Protection, Hi-Vis Clothing, Safety Glasses to BS EN 166 F, Hand Protection
